Time sure flies during the holidays! I hope you had a great one. I certainly enjoyed being back home with my parents and siblings after missing out on Christmas with all of them last year. Reading a bit, sitting by the fire, chatting with friends and family. It was a jolly time indeed.
Now it is January, 2015, and I am excited to say that along with a bunch of relaxing at home in the last few weeks, I have been busy working away on the editing for my final documentary, Music Is Life.
Music Is Life is a snapshot of student songwriting in 9 different countries. You get to hear students speak about what it takes to write a song, why there should be music in schools, and why music is important to them personally, along with some samples of their original compositions.
It’s a film about opening up and expressing something true.
It’s about telling stories, and not being afraid to let the world know who you really are.
So, mark your calendar for Friday, January 23rd, when the movie will be made available online (For free!) via Vimeo. For those of you with the kickstarter reward, you will get an email with a link to a download earlier that week.
You can get more updates on the progress of Music Is Life at the Facebook Page (which I encourage you to like), but I will definitely be putting out another blog post with the link here as well.
Thanks again for following along! More news soon.
